Me: Roughly a week (its a laptop as well)

I did a bunch of shit that required rebooting, including switching the OS I was using.

Right now, 1 day 20 hours 35 minutes.

How it was explained to me a few years ago (so this might have changed, but I don't see how) is that with turning it on and off the time, it causes the small circuits in the CPU to heat up and cool down, and this causes them to expand and contract, and thus, break down over time. So you will get longer life if you leave your computer on because it keeps the CPU at a (more) steady temperature, thus causing a longer life because the wires aren't expanding and contracting all the time. Don't know how much is true, but if it is BS, it's based enough is fact that I can see how it would be true.
